Mrs. Phyllis Elaine Matthews Naylor, 77 of Godwin went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Golden Years Nursing Home in Falcon.

There will be no services held.

Mrs. Naylor was a native of Cumberland County, the daughter of William R. and Murdie Jane Autry Matthews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Minson Naylor and her daughter, Terry Naylor.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter, Pandora Boykin of Autryville; her son, Minson P. Naylor, Jr. of Wade; sister, Jane Deason of Florida; two grandsons, Travis Matthews and Jonathan Matthews; three great  grandchildren, Mason Matthews, Noah Matthews and Cooper Matthews.
