PARKTON Mr. Phillip Rudy Ezzell, 41 of Parkton, died on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at his home. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Ezzell Family Cemetery in Autryville. Mr. Ezzell was born on August 25, 1970 in Sampson County. He is preceded in death by his biological parents, Mr. & Mrs. Anson Ezzell. He worked as a Landscaper. He is survived by: his parents, James E. Smith, Sr. of Stedman and Valada Smith of Indiana; his four children, Tabitha, Christine, Samantha and Patricia; his companion of 19 years, Deborah Ringrose; his sister, Jamie Vancil; and three brothers, James E. Smith, Jr., Paul Bernesderfer and Patrick Renderster. The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:45 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
