Rev. Perry C. Parker, 89

ROSEBORO Rev. Perry Craven Parker, 89 of 408 W. North Street, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2008 at Mary Gran Nursing Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Roseboro Church of God with the Rev. Harold Anderson, Rev. Currie Parker, and Rev. Wayne Aaron officiating. Burial will follow in the Roseboro Cemetery. Rev. Parker was born in 1918 in Sampson County to the late Challie Craven and Minie Ellen Parker. He was a retired Church of God Minister. Rev. Parker is survived by: his wife, Elsie Barefoot Parker; one son, Bobby Parker and wife Brenda, of Roseboro; one daughter, Ellen Wilson and husband Gary, of Virginia; one step-daughter, Joyce Sessoms and husband Sherman, of Catawba, SC; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, and ten step-great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at the Roseboro Church of God.
