FAYETTEVILLE Ms. Peggy Lou McDonald, 72 of 2221 L. A. Dunham Road, Fayetteville died on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at her home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A. M. on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with the Rev. Barry Byrd officiating. Burial will follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. Ms. McDonald was a native of Cumberland County, the daughter of the late William Franklin and Ludie Honeycutt Hudson. She was preceded in death by her son, Harry Wayne Cashwell. She was former owner and operator of Peggy's Boutique in Stedman. She is survived by: daughter, Frankie Cashwell Westbrook of Eastover; son, Barry Cashwell and wife, Rhonda of Fayetteville; daughter-in-law, Sue Cashwell of Fayetteville; two sisters, Margaret Fisher and Ruth Bunce both of Stedman; one brother, Bruford Hudson of Aberdeen; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6- 8 PM on Friday evening, December 21, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
