Mrs. Sarah Paulette (Williams) Autry, 83 of Autryville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Southwood Nursing Center in Clinton.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at Long Branch Baptist Church with Reverend Jay Faircloth and Reverend Larry McCarty officiating. The burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Church of God of Prophecy Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at the church prior to the service.
Mrs. Autry was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Paul and Jincie Lizabeth Faircloth Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Windolph Autry; three sisters, Annie Ford Tart, Carolyn Morales and Gloria Records; three brothers, Bobby Joe Williams, Johnny Williams and Joseph “Jake” Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Beverly Butler and husband, Craig of Wallace; and James L. Autry and wife, Tracy of Stedman; three grandsons, David Autry, James D. Autry and Bryan Bass; her great-granddaughter, Remedi Bass; two brothers, Richard Williams and wife, Louise of Autryville; and Paul Williams and wife, Patsy of Autryville; her brother-in-law, Eugene Records of Autryville; and her sister-in-law, Ruby Williams Brown of Clinton.
