Mr. Paul A. West, 80

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Paul Addison West, 80 of 1723 Community Drive, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009 at The Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Bethany Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Donald Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. West was a native of Cumberland County and the son of the late Jesse A. West and Lottie Harrington West. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Paulette West. Mr. West worked at Kelly-Springfield Tire Company in Fayetteville as a Quality Control Inspector, was a school bus driver for Cape Fear High School for 10 plus years, was a former Trailways Bus Driver and was a member of Stedman Church of God of Prophecy. Mr. West is survived by his wife of 61 years, Estelle K. West, of the home; two sons, Donald A. West and wife Doris, of Fayetteville and Kenneth D. West and wife Denise, of Fort Walton Beach, FL; sister, Salome Fisher, of Stedman; three grandchildren, Steven Bryan West, Crystal Lynn Owen and Richard Addison West; four great-grandchildren, Joshua Addison West, Vivian Reynolds, Aiden Christopher West and Ty West. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1 until 2 P.M. at the church. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
