Mrs. Patricia Lee (Herring) Miller, 74 of Roseboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Duke University Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 14, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Pastor Gil Litada officiating. The burial will follow at Harnett Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:50 PM on Friday, March 14, 2025 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Miller was born in San Francisco, CA, the daughter of David Brown Herring, Sr. and Annie Lois Rice Herring Durbin. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Robert Miller; two brothers, David Brown Herring, Jr. and Randy Herring; and her son-in-law, Timothy Thigpen.

She leaves to cherish her memory four children, David Phillips of Roseboro; Robert Phillips (Emily) of Stedman; Jeffery Phillips of Concord; and Pella Thigpen of Roseboro; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her sister, Vera Reagan; and three brothers, Kenneth Herring, Mike Herring and Greg Herring.
