Patricia Brewington, 50 of 1353 John B. Carter Road passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Jones.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Monday, December 12, 2016 at Galilee Free Will Holiness Church, 3625 Sunnyside School Road, Fayetteville, officiating will be Rev. Jerry Groves. Interment will follow at Cape Fear Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the funeral home and at other times at 2515 Pea Field Road, Autryville.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Michael Brewington of the home; sons, Michael Corey Brewington of Autryville and Kevin Lambert Brewington of the home; mother, Charlene Jacobs of Fayetteville; brother, Dennis Mellott of Eastover; sister, Joan Byant of Autryville; sister, Phyllis Jones of Currie; sister, Donna Scott of Maxton; sister, Paula Hunt of Pembroke; sister, Peggy Smith of Georgia and brother, Tommy Jones of Georgia; grandchildren, Jayden and Aiden Brewington and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Butler Funeral Home, P.O. Box 207, Stedman, NC 28391 to help the family with funeral expenses.
