Autryville
Mrs. Pamela Jane (Autry) Sessoms, 70, of Autryville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 29, 2026 at her home surrounded by her children.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Reverend Jeff Bartlett and Bishop Bryan Strickland officiating. The burial will follow at Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Mrs. Pamela was born in Harnett County, the daughter of David C. Autry and Bessie Faircloth Autry. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Henry Sessoms; and her brother, Ray Autry.
A faithful follower of Christ, Pam served her church in many roles throughout her life. Whether teaching, encouraging others, singing, helping behind the scenes, or simply sharing God’s love, her life was a testimony of faith, compassion, and humble service. She also worked as a teacher assistant for 20 years at Salemburg Elementary, where she loved working with her coworkers and the students.
She is survived by four children, Jodie Sessoms, Melissa Johnson and husband Rafael, Jim Sessoms and wife Dawn, and Robert Sessoms; seven grandchildren, Joshua Johnson, Christalyn Parker, Samuel Johnson, Destiny Sessoms, Preston Sessoms, Thomas Boyd, and Eric Boyd; a great grandchild, Asher Simpson; and special family members, Leelan Davis, Stormy Stephens, Faye Autry, and Sherry Autry.
