Mr. O.T. Hales, 83

ROSEBORO Mr. O.T. Hales, 83 of 4516 Hayne Stretch Road, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2008 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Coston Hales Family Cemetery. Mr. Hales was born in 1925 in Sampson County to the late Willie Norman and Flora McDonald Hales. He is preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers, Johnnie Hales and William Hales; and one sister, Ponnie Hales. He was employed in the Lumber Industry. Mr. Hales is survived by: one sister, Verndell Hall of Autryville; and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, and other times at residence 2540 Butler Island Road.
