Mr. Orvis Carmon Bullard, 74 of Roseboro, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Highland House Nursing Home in Fayetteville.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with Reverend Michael Shook officiating. Interment with Masonic Rites will follow in the Church Cemetery.

He was born on September 22, 1941 in Sampson County to the late Samuel Porter and Annie Bell Hall Bullard. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Grace Smith Bullard; and brother, Turman Bullard. He was a member of Stedman Masonic Lodge #730 and was a member and deacon of Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

He is survived by son, Rodney Bullard and wife Laura of Wilmington; daughter, Sharon Bullard Young and husband Douglas of Hickory; grandchildren, Christopher Bullard, Amanda Bullard, and Ella Grae Bullard; sisters, Jimmie Lou Blake, Iris West, and Rita Barrett all of Fayetteville; brothers, Douglas Bullard of Stedman, J.P. Bullard, and Dale Bullard both of Roseboro.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 pm Tuesday prior to the service.
