Mrs. Onice Faircloth Hobson, 86

Mrs. Onice Faircloth Hobson, 86, of Autryville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006 at Village Green Nursing Center in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006 at 2 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Rev. Ronald Long and Rev. Dennis Guy officiating. Burial will follow in the Butler Cemetery in Autryville. Mrs. Hobson was born in May, 14, 1920 in Sampson County to the late Love Allen and Alma Wright Faircloth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Hobson and a grandson, Dustin Faircloth. She was a member of Autryville Baptist Church and a homemaker. Mrs. Hobson is survived by: four daughters, Linda Hawkins, of Anchorage, Alaska, Ellen Gray Naylor and Iona Coleman, both of Autryville and Barbara J. Mintz, of Leland; three sons, William E. Hobson, of Justin, Texas, Henry Hobson, of Roseboro and Dwight Hobson, of Autryville; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday night, Dec. 4, 2006 from 6 till 8 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
