Mrs. Ola H. Chavis, 73

STEDMAN Mrs. Ola Harrell Chavis, 73, of 6221 Bethany Drive, Stedman, died Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 6, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with the Rev. Bill Tatum officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg. Mrs. Chavis was a native of Dillon County, S.C. and the daughter of the late Everitte and Fotchie Harrell Turberville. She is survived by: two sons, David Ray Chavis & wife Vickie B. of Vander and Ricky Lee Chavis & wife Tammy K. of Stedman; three daughters, Alice Faye Hall & husband Glenn of Stedman, Debra Ann Maynor of Hope Mills and Melinda Gail Autry & husband Chris of Autryville; three sisters, Joyce Jackson of Latta, S.C., Phyllis Stokes of Timmonsville, S.C. and Betty Jo Gifford of Anderson, S.C.; four brothers, Robert Byrd of Latta, S.C., Everitte Turberville, Jr., Douglas Turberville and Alan Turberville, all of Florence, S.C.; fourteen grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
