Mrs. Nova Averitt Goetz, 82

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Nova Averitt Goetz, 82, of 2201 Progress St., Fayetteville, died Sunday, February 25 in Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Goetz was preceded in death by her parents, William Robert Averitt and Louvina Sutton Averitt; her husband, William George Goetz; three brothers and four sisters. She was a native of Cumberland County. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Mrs. Goetz is survived by two sons, William Goetz and wife Gwendolyn of Fayetteville, and Robert Goetz and wife Cecelia of Zebulon; one daughter, Laurie G. Aaron and husband Jerome of Newton, Mass.; four grandchildren, William Goetz, Geoffrey Goetz, Jacob Aaron and Daniel Aaron. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M.
