FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Norman Terrance Starling, Sr.,68, of 2909 Spur Ave. died Sunday, November 6 at his home. He was an Industrial Mechanic with Puralator. Norman was born in Cumberland County on March 16, 1943. His father was the late Norman Starling. He was also predeceased by a son, Norman Terrance Starling, Jr. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 9 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Joe Ammons officiating. Burial will follow at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. He is survived by: his wife, Teresa Stewart; mother, Cordie Mae Starling of Wade; four sons, Eric Starling of Kings Mountain, Anthony Starling of Stedman, Victor Starling of Hope Mills and Norman Jason Starling of Fayetteville; two brothers, James Richard Starling and J.T. Starling, both of Wade; five grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M., Wednesday at the funeral home.
