Ms. Norma Joan Smith Rogers, 80 went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 24, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

The family will have a private burial at 4:00 PM Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Fisher Cemetery in Stedman.

Joan was born in Plainview, Texas to the late Norman Herbert Smith and Annie Mae Jackson Smith.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Douglas Rogers; brother, Herbert Smith and his wife, Sharon Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Norman Reese Rogers & wife, Noelle; daughters, Rae Deneen Pope & husband, Robert and Ricki Donnette Williams & husband, Eric; and her grandchildren, Ricky Rogers & wife, Katie, Jessie Rogers, Shelby, Crystal, Abigail and Patrick Williams, Richard, Cody, Jaden, Jennifer, Christopher and Kaitlyn Pope.
