Mrs. Norma Johnson Hair, 94

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Norma Johnson Hair, 94 of 5281 Matt Hair Road, died on Monday, September 19, 2011 at The Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Cumberland Union Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. John Blackman officiating. Mrs. Hair was born on May 27, 1917 on Bogie Island Road in Cedar Creek to the late Joel S. and Telia Jackson Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, D. Hoyle Hair; son and daughter-in-law, David and Mary Hair; sons-in-law, Wade Owen and Grover Jandreau; two brothers, E. Weldon Johnson and Harold W. Johnson; and two sisters, Erness Johnson and Ida J. Johnson. She was a member of Cumberland Union Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years and was a homemaker. She is survived by: two daughters, Norma H. Owen and Erness H. Jandreau both of Fayetteville; one sister, Grace Britt and husband, Carl of Lumberton; a sister-in-law, Linda Hair of Fayetteville; three grandsons, Wade C. Owen, III and Mark Jandreau both of Fayetteville, and Brent Hair of Elizabethtown; and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. at Cumberland Union Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 7096 Tabor Church Road, Fayetteville, NC 28312, and other times at the home. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. at Cumberland Union Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 7096 Tabor Church Road, Fayetteville, NC 28312, and other times at the home.
