CLINTON
Mr. Norfleet M. Moore, 75 of 324 Westbrook Road, died on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at his home.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at Mary's Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. David Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park in Clinton.
Mr. Moore was born in 1933 in Richmond, Virginia to Warner Franklin and Cathrine Morgan Moore, Sr. He is preceded in death by: his parents; three brothers, John, George, and Franklin Moore; one step-son, David Hinson; and one step-daughter, Diane Yancey. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was Owner and Operator of Moore's Flag Car Service.
Mr. Moore is survived by: his wife, Linda B. Moore of the home; one son, Michael Moore and wife Vickie, of Hampton, VA; one step-son, Jerry Hinson and wife Jean, of Warner Robins, GA; one brother, Joe Lee Moore of Victoria, VA; one sister, Annie Laura Gryder of Stoney Point, NC; one granddaughter, McKayla Moore; and six step-grandchildren, JoAnna Davis and husband Patrick, Kristin Yancey, Lindsey Yancey, Garrett Yancey, Jennifer Hinson, and Chris Hinson.
The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 1 until 3 P.M. at Mary's Chapel Baptist Church, and other times at the home.
