Mrs. Nora Wrench Carr

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Nora Wrench Carr, 87, of 428 Bluegill Court died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was a homemaker. A native of Sampson County, she was the daughter of William Claude Wrench and Rowena Hollingsworth Wrench. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, February 23 at the Salvation Army Chapel, 220 E. Russell St. in Fayetteville with Rev. Ethan Frizzell, Capt. Guadaloupe officiating. Burial will follow at Baptist Chapel Church Cemetery. Mrs. Carr is survived by three daughters, Linda Smith of Eastover, Vickie Bates of Fayetteville and Sue Carr of Fayetteville.; two sons, William Carr of Hope Mills and Berry Carr of Spring Lake; twenty-four grandchildren; forty great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Friday, February 22 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
