Mr. Nolon Dalco Windham

STEDMAN Mr. Nolon Dalco Windham, 82, of 2169 Carl Freeman Rd., died Sunday, March 2 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant. A native of Richmond County, SC, He was the son of Ezekial Thomas Windham, Sr. and Lillie Tucker Windham. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty years, Shirley M. Windham. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 4, at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Leon Keefe and Rev. Sherrill Boykin officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Mr. Windham is survived by two daughters, Linda Smith of Sanford and Wendy Bathke of Stedman; two sons, John Windham of Albemarle and James Windham of Fayetteville; two sisters, Toney Owens of Charlotte and Ruby Jackson of Jacksonville, FL.; three brothers, E.T. Windham, Jr. of Charlotte, Nathan Windham of North Wikesboro and Lamont Windham of Matthews; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M., Monday, March 3, at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
