Nina Smith McMillan, 71 of Dublin NC went to be with the Lord peacefully on Sunday April 10 2022 with her daughter Renée McMillan Petite by her side at their home.

Nina was born the daughter of Holly Neal & Mary Staton Smith of Garland NC She was preceded in death by her parents; Special Friend Eric S Bryan; Sisters, Lexie Hunter and Alan Kay Whaley; Brothers, Roland, Thomas & Conley Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Renée McMillan Petite of Dublin and Husband Nick; One Furbaby Lil Jimmy; Renee’s father Wayne McMillan;  Sisters, Julie Ann Smith of White Oak, Jane Gordon of High Point, Frances Smith of Archdale, Lila Bell Ward of Thomasville, and Sadie Fields of Trinity; Brothers, Vernon Smith of Ashboro, and Holly Neal Smith Jr of Florida; and many nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews that she loved very much.

Nina was an amazing beautiful mother who dedicated her life to God, and family. She was a strong willed woman with a generous soul for everyone she met. She was a role model, to her daughter, a wonderful supporter and her best friend.

Her daughter was her pride & joy, She loved spending time with her daughter shopping, working in the yard, planting flowers, decorating and babysitting all the rescue animals her daughter would bring home.

Nina was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was A beautiful spirit in a world that could use a million  more people like her.

Family & friends gathered for an outside service at Nick & Renée Petites house, Nina’s daughter & son n law.Her daughter planted a rose bush in her honor while the Moffitt family sang Amazing Grace and Nina’s sister Julie Smith read a poem she wrote dedicated to her.While Nina’s earthly journey has come to an end, her eternal journey has only begun.
