Mrs. Neva Clevis Horne, 87

HOPE MILLS Mrs. Neva Clevis Horne, 87, of Hope Mills, passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Marion Steve Horne officiating. Burial will follow at the New Cemetery in Autryville. Mrs. New was preceded in death by her husband, Burnis Horne and two sons Timmy and Edmund Horne. She is survived by: one son, Johny Horne and wife Geraldine, of Hope Mills; two daughters, Mary Simmons, of Fayetteville and Rita Horne, of Parkton; two granddaughters that she raised as her own, Dorothy Thomas and Eleanor Jackson; sister, Margaret Faircloth, of Fayetteville; 6 other grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 25 great great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
