Mrs. Neta Carter Reaves, 68

Fayetteville

Mrs. Neta Reaves, 68 of 640 Dunn Rd., passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Neta was born June 4, 1947 in Sampson County to the late Oscar Carter and Bertha Hall Carter. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.

She was also a member of Temple Baptist Church in Eastover.

Funeral services will be held 3pm Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Temple Baptist Church, officiating will be Pastor Kelly Bullard. Interment will follow at T.J. Hall Family Cemetery in Autryville.

The family will receive friends 6:00pm-8:00pm Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the funeral home.

She is survived by her husband, Harace Reaves of the home; son, Allen Reaves of Fayetteville; daughter, Susan Reaves Williams of Fredericksburg, Va; 4 grandchildren, Ella Williams, Misty Smith, Tracy Murray and Nathan Murray; 4 great grandchildren and 2 sisters.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church, 3159 Sanderosa Rd., Fayetteville, NC 28312 or to the Cumberland County Animal Shelter, 4704 Corporation Drive, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
