Mr. Nathan T. Williams, 86 Jr.

AUTRYVILLE Mr. Nathan Thomas "N.T." Williams, Jr., 86 of 3331 Maxwell Road, died on March 27, 2010 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro. He was born on May 12, 1923, and was the son of the late Nathan Thomas and Mittie Autry Williams. N.T. was a life-long citizen of the Clement community, where he owned and operated Williams Flower Shop for 44 years. He attended Baptist Chapel Church, where he served as a life time deacon. N.T. lived a blessed life and is survived by: his beloved wife of sixty years, Sadie Mae Williams of the home; one son, Wayne Williams and wife, Rosemary of Greenville, NC; one granddaughter, Tonya Williams Pearson and husband, Ron of Hertford; two great grandchildren, Kendall and Jackson Pearson; one brother, Sherrill Williams and wife, Shirley; one sister, Bevie Williams Starling and husband, Tommy; and a sister-in-law, Agnes Williams. He is preceded in death by: his father and mother; his brother, Hershel "Bill" Williams; his half-brother, Thomas H. Williams; and his half-sister, Allene Williams Strickland. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 4:00 P.M. at Baptist Chapel Church with Rev. Alan Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home. Arrangements by Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
