STEDMAN
Mrs. Nannie Mae Smith Albertson, 92, of 691 Wade Stedman Rd. died Tuesday, September 23 at her home. She was born February 14, 1916 in Pink Hill, NC, the daughter of Ralph Kenan Smith and Edith Susan Smith. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 59 years, George Gerald Albertson.
Mrs. Albertson was a faithful member of Stedman Baptist Church and a member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class and the WMU. Being a Homemaker she loved the requirments of motherhood, gardening, cooking and sewing. Above all she shared her love with everyone.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, September 28 at Stedman Baptist Church with Dr. Phil Spears and Dr. Bruce Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park.
Mrs. Albertson is survived by her son, Bobby Albertson of the home; three daughters, Geraldine Albertson Kugler of Henderson, NV, Carol Green and husband Rod of Hope Mills and JoAnne English and husband Ralph of Kerrville, TX; two grandchildren; Karyn Lyn Thompson of Lorton, Va. and Edwin Brown Kugler III and wife Danielle of Henderson, NV; three great grandchildren, Jessika Thompson of Somerset, PA, Edwin John Kugler and Ethan Michael Kugler, both of Henderson, NV.; one brother, R.K. Smith and wife Nancy of Hendersonville; one sister, Susan Smith Little of Wilson; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M., Saturday, September 27 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
