STEDMAN Nancy Williams Hobson, 54, of 2103 Carl Freeman Rd. died Monday, October 27. She was a homemaker. She was born in Sampson County and was the daughter of Obie Alvin Williams and Sallie Herring Williams. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 29 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman with Bishop Warren Barfield officiating. Burial will follow at the Williams Family Cemetery. She is survived by a son, Jason Hobson of Autryville; a daughter, Kristy Cummings of Autryville; three granddaughters, Katy Cummings, Tracey Cummings and Kiley Cummings, all of Autryville; three sisters, Teresa Vernon of Fayetteville, Glenda Lynch of Boone and Pamela Williams and husband Marty of Autryville; a brother, J.L. Williams of Autryville; six nephews, Darvy, Casey, Donnie, Michael, LaRoy and John; a niece, Missy; and a special friend, Dulles Faircloth. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M., Tuesday, October 28 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
