Mrs. Nancy Hall Altman, 73 received her Holy Healing & was reunited with her loved ones on Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 6:50 PM Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.  A private burial will be held at a later date.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Nova & Hosie Hall; her husband, Al Altman & her husband Jimmie Byrd; her siblings, Ralph Hall, Dollie Jones, Lillie Carter, Cecil Hall, Jimmy Hall, David Hall, Glenn Hall, Michael Hall & Lawrence Hall. Nancy retired from Cumberland County Schools as a cafeteria assistant manager in 2014. Nancy was also employed with Stone Sign Co., Stedman Sewing Factory but her favorite job was the years she served as a stay at home mother to her beloved son, Robert. Nancy leaves to cherish her memory, her son Robert Byrd & his wife Becky, her granddaughter Autumn & her husband Colby Pope, her granddaughter Maranda Byrd, her granddaughter Michaela Rehbein, her sister, Sylvia Smith & her husband Ralph along with step-sons & their families, many sister & brother-in-laws, nieces & nephews, cousins & the place she was born & loved, Halltown. Our lives are forever sweeter because of her presence & we now find our peace knowing she is having a huge family reunion on Heaven’s Beagle Lane Dirt Road.
