Mrs. Myrtle M. Anderson, 82

STEDMAN Mrs. Myrtle McAlpin Anderson, 82 of 1034 Mary McCall Road, died on Monday, July 27, 2009 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Oak Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. David Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Autry-McAlpin Cemetery in Stedman. Mrs. Anderson was born in Robeson County on September 10, 1926, the daughter of the late Joseph Neil McAlpin and Irene V. White McAlpin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harry Alfred Anderson. She retired from Burlington Industries and was a member of Oak Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Anderson is survived by several cousins and extended family. The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 11 until 1 P.M. at the church. Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
