Muniamma "Jean" Brown

Muniamma “Jean” Brown, 75 went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 4, 2026 at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Praise Fellowship Church of God, officiating will be Pastor Kevin Edwards.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM Saturday at the church prior to the service.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Lafayette Memorial Park.

Jean was born in South Africa to the late Mr. & Mrs. KC Naidoo.  In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Alex Reese Brown, and several brothers and sisters.

Jean retired from Century Link as a Sales Specialist with over 18 years of service.  She was also a longtime member of Praise Fellowship Church of God.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her niece, Christelle Branson & husband, Christopher; great niece, Amisha Branson; 2 sisters, Babma Naidoo & Patty Wilkins; numerous nieces and nephews; and many family members in South Africa.

Jeanima filled our hearts with unconditional love, joy and laughter.  We will forever be grateful for everything she did and will cherish the beautiful memories she left with us.
