Mitchell Sherrill Boykin

Mr. Mitchell Sherrill Boykin, 57 of 3929 Howard Road, Autryville passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at UNC Rex Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 3 at South River Community Church with Rev. Lynn McLaurin officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 - 11:50 AM at the church prior to the service. Also, the family will receive friends at his home.

Mr. Boykin was a native of Sampson County, the son of Sherrill Boykin and Shelby Bass Boykin. He was preceded in death by his father. He was a member of South River Community Church.

He is survived by his wife, Pandora Elaine Boykin; mother, Shelby Boykin; son, Eric Boykin; sister, Terrie Nunnery (special friend, Randy); brother, Steven Boykin and wife, Dana; step-children, Travis Matthews and wife, Kelli and Jonathan Matthews and wife, Ashley; step-daughter, Taylor Winston; grandchildren, Mason Matthews, Noah Matthews, Cooper Matthews, Sonny Winston, Ayden Winston and nieces and nephews.
