Miss Candice Renee Burgette, 34, of Hope Mills died Sunday, August 28, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, September 1 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Pastor Jerry Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Candice is survived by her father, James Edward Burgette; two children, Brittany Jacobs and Makayla Jacobs; two sisters, Sherry Hobbs and Teresa Barnes, all of Hope Mills; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Mona Carol Burgette.
