BEAVER DAM Miss Allie May Knowles, age 9 of 9519 Ruth Vinson Road, died on Monday, June 23, 2008 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Evergreen Baptist Church with the Rev. Odell Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at the Knowles Family Cemetery. Miss Knowles was born in 1998 and a native of Cumberland County. Miss Knowles is survived by: her parents, James Robert and Julie Knowles of the home; one sister, Hannah Harris of Cedar Creek; two brothers, Bobby Knowles of Angier, and Chris Dobbs of the home; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Mary Agnus Knowles of Beaver Dam; and maternal grandmother, Elsie Shimanek of Beaver Dam. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 until 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home.
