Miss Eva Kate Horne, 72

FAYETTEVILLE

Miss Eva Kate Horne, 72 of 2036 John Hall Road, Fayetteville, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The funeral will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, December 2 at Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, with Mr. Donald Pope, Minister of Music at Praise Fellowship Church of God, officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Fayetteville.

She was born November 6, 1943 in Cumberland County to the late Tause Butler and Victor Elizabeth Spell Horne. She worked in the Cafeteria at Seabrook Elementary School.

She is survived by one sister, Joyce Hughes and husband Alvis of Fayetteville; and two brothers, Jackie Horne and wife Sabra of Hope Mills, Bruce Horne and wife Shelby of Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 am prior to the service and other times at the home.
