Miss Rachel Gertrude Sessoms, 84 of 106 Warsaw Road, died on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
The funeral will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 4:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at the Mary Ann Sessoms Cemetery in Roseboro.
Miss Sessoms was born on March 17, 1927 in Sampson County to the late Calton Walker and Etta Simmons Sessoms. She worked as a Loan Administrator with Farmers Home Administration.
She is survived by: two nephews, Charles Sessoms of Roseboro and Larry Sessoms of Hubert, NC; three great nieces and three great nephews; and one great-great nephew.
The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 3 to 4 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home of Charles Sessoms, 1819 Josh Sessoms Road, Roseboro.
