SPRING LAKE Miss Katie Elizabeth Sessoms, 20, of 655 Sierra Trail, Spring Lake, died on Thursday, June 21, 2012 close to her home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Roy Hilburn officiating. Miss Sessoms was born on May 25, 1992 in Sampson County to Randall Leo Sessoms and Ginger Bivens. She was a student at Central Carolina Community College. She is survived by: her mother, Ginger B. Sessoms of Spring Lake, step father, Rob Hewett of Spring Lake, father, Leo Sessoms of Rock Hill, SC, step mother, Tiffany Sessoms of Rock Hill, SC, one brother, Joshua Sessoms of Spring Lake, one half sister, Kayli Sessoms of Rock Hill, SC, three step siblings, Krystal Nunley, Tyler Adkins and Bailey Adkins, her step grandparents, Robert Hewett Sr. and Martha Hewett of Louisville, KY and step grandfather, Robert Clark of Rock Hill, S.C. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home of Allen Bivens 450 Lyman Road, Salemburg.
