Miss Mavis A. Hair, 62

STEDMAN Miss Mavis Allene Hair, 62 of 2477 Stedman-Cedar Creek Road, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A native of Cumberland County, she was the daughter of Sidney Gilbert Hair and Carrie Marie Faircloth Hair. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Donald Baldwin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Miss Mavis is survived by: three brothers, Sidney Wayne Hair of Stedman, Earl Wade Hair of Stedman and Weldon Elwood Hair of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Loretta Simmons Cloer of Fayetteville and Shelby Ann Bullard of Stedman; two nieces, Brittany Hair of Stedman and Sarah Hair of Fayetteville; seven nephews, David Hair of Stedman, Nathan Hair of Fayetteville, Matthew Hair of Fayetteville, Sidney "Pete" Simmons of Stone Mt., GA, Wylie K. Simmons of Columbia, SC, Kem D. "Fuzy" Simmons of Oak Harbor, WA and Brandon Hair of Seattle, WA. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 until 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, Stedman, and other times at the home.
