SALEMBURG
Mr. Minson Wade McLamb, 64 of 1741 Tyndall Bridge Road, Salemburg, died on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
The funeral will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Freedom Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Wood and Rev. Bryan Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg.
Mr. McLamb was born on September 21, 1950 in Sampson County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gladstone E. McLamb and Wilma Naylor McLamb. He retired as a lineman with the telephone company.
He is survived by one son, Steven Wade McLamb and wife Shirley of Salemburg; one sister, Betty Carolyn Tew of Roseboro; one brother, Norbert McLamb and wife Louise of Fayetteville; nieces, Pam Stanford of Lancaster, S.C., Cristal Tart of Calabash, Alyssa McLamb of Monroe, Madison Tew of Godwin; nephews, Chris McLamb and wife Tina of Fayetteville, Michael McLamb and wife Jeanne of Monroe, Jay Tew of San Diego, CA, Michael McLamb, Jr. of Monroe, Braxton Wilson of Calabash; and his loving companion, Little Bit.
The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at 1312 Deb Road, Roseboro.
