Mrs. Minnie B. Whitehurst, 92

STEDMAN Mrs. Minnie Brown Alexander Whitehurst, 92, of 731 Blawell St. died Sunday, September 20 at Bethesda Nursing Home in Eastover. She was the widow of the late Lewis David Whitehurst. She was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Whitehurst. She was a homemaker and a member of the Stedman Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 23 at Stedman Baptist Church with Dr. Phil Spears officiating. Burial will follow at Fayetteville Memorial Park. Mrs. Whitehurst is survived by a daughter, Carrie W. Parrish of Stedman; two sons, Sammy Lewis Whitehurst (wife Linda) of Greenville and Steve Whitehurst (wife Valerie) of Stedman; daughter-in-law, Marlon Whitehurst of Stedman; sister, Nancy Hart (husband Miles Ivan,II) of Macon NC; brother, Rev. Carroll Alexander (wife Anna Lee) of Columbia, SC; seven grandchildren, Julia P. Riddle, Margaret Parrish, Shannon W. Woodell, Melanie W. Owens, Kim Whitehurst, April W. Naylor and David Whitehurst; nine great grandchildren, Anna Riddle, Zachery Riddle, J.T. Riddle, Mason Woodell, Mackensie Woodell, Kristin Whitehurst, Alex Whitehurst, Kimberly Whitehurst and Haley Owens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M., Tuesday, September 22 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
