Mrs. Minnie Wilma Treadaway Arnette, 91 of Clinton went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 30, 2024 at her home.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Stan Carter officiating.  Burial will follow in the Roseboro Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 2:50 PM on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.

Mrs. Arnette was born on October 4, 1933 in Sampson County to David Franklin and Julia Elizabeth Smith Treadaway.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Malcom Arnette; two daughters, Betty Arnette and Daisy Thompson; four sons, Larry Arnette, Russell Arnette, James Arnette and Bobby Arnette.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Sylvia Best of Clinton and Shirley Arnette of Fayetteville; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and five great- great grandchildren.
