Mrs. Minnie Ellen James, 95 passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Cumberland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born April 11, 1922 in Haywood County to the late Herbert Clifton Arrowood and Sallie Jackson Arrowood. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Walter Clifton Arrowood, James Weaver Arrowood, William Frank Arrowood, Carroll W. Arrowood; and sisters, Lillie Mae Arrowood, Mary Lee Penland, and Pollyanna King.

She is survived by her daughter, Nora J. Davis of Fayetteville and son, Harry Winfield James of Fayetteville; 2 grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm Monday, May 15, 2017 at Cape Fear Baptist Church Cemetery in Grays Creek, officiating will be Rev. Andy Wood.

Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
