Mrs. Minnie Ruth Bryan Simpson, 81 of Roseboro passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, November 16, at Peters Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 13176 Peters Creek Church Road, Roseboro.

Mrs. Simpson was born July 1, 1937 in Dillon County, SC, and was the daughter of the late Henry Grad and Mary Lena Johnson Bryan.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Arnold Simpson.  She was retired from Murphy Farms.

She is survived by her husband, Claude C. Simpson of the home; two daughters, Connie Calmer of Bennettsville, SC and Janet Weber of Roseboro; one son, Curtis Simpson of Garland; two sisters, Mattie Oliver of Garland and Margie Melvin of Chadbourn; one brother, Julian Bryan of Bladenboro; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
