Mrs. Minnie J. Brown, 93

BLADENBORO Mrs. Minnie Jo Brown, 93 of 205 Pecan Street, Bladenboro, died on Monday July 2, 2007 at Elizabethtown Nursing Center in Elizabethtown. Funeral services will be held on Friday July 6, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. Glenn Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Mac Autry Cemetery. Mrs. Brown was born in 1913 in Sampson County to the late George Oliver and Hattie Willis. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Vance James Brown; and two sons, Vance Brown, Jr., and Harold Brown. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Brown is survived by: four sons, William Brown of Fayetteville, Harvey Brown of Bladenboro, Floyd Brown of Bladenboro, and Bobby Brown of Roseboro; 23 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great granddaughter. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
