Mr. Milton L. Royal, 60

Clinton Mr. Milton Lynn Royal, 60, of 3581 Bass Lake Road, entered into his heavenly home on Friday, October 3, 2008 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro with his loving family by his side. A funeral service will be held on Monday, Oct. 6, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Elizabeth Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Wood and Dr. Lynn Bullock officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Royal was a native of Sampson County, the son of the late Elijah Lee and Katie Ruth Faircloth Royal. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Delphus Lee Royal and James Sidney Royal and a sister, Ranae Royal Tyndall. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and received two purple hearts and a bronze star. He was an employee of Smithfield Packing Company. Mr. Royal is survived by: wife, Pat Norris Royal, of the home; daughter, Ashley Wiggins and husband Kevin, of Roseboro; sister, Sherry Royal Jackson and husband Dwight, of Clinton; several nieces and nephews and several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. The family will receive friends on Sunday night, Oct. 5, 2008 from 6-8 pm at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
