Mr. Milton Bradley Jordan, Jr.

Mr. Milton Bradley Jordan, Jr. of 340 Wade Stedman Rd. passed away Monday, June 9, 2008 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was a retired Service Repairman for Holmes Electric. He was born in Cumberland County and was the son of the late, Bradley Jordan and Eloise Beard Jordan. A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, June 14 at Cokesbury United Methodist Church with Rev. Rose Connor officiating. Burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park. Mr. Jordan is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janet Godwin Jordan of the home; a daughter, Beth Beard and husband Gary; a son, David Jordan and wife Terrie; three grandchildren, Jeremy Beard and wife Ashley, Kristen Secrist and husband Ben and Katherine Jordan; a great grandchild, Christopher "Little Buddy" Beard; a brother, A.J. Jordan and wife Rhonda; a sister, Faye Williams and husband Gerald. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M., Friday, June 13 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
