Mr. Michael Stephen Morris, 49 went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 30, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Butler Funeral Home with the Reverend Charles Jernigan officiating. The burial will follow at Ed Autry Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:50 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mr. Morris was a native of Chesterfield County, VA, the son of Thomas Dale and Sandra Kaye Jennings Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Randy Morris of Charlottesville, VA; sister, Melissa Hales and husband, Chris of Autryville; four nieces, Jessica Amos, Tiffany Valeriano, Casey Whay and Stephanie Dewey; great nieces and nephews, Noah Valeriano, Gracie Valeriano, Kelcee Valeriano, Autumn Whay, Wyatt Whay and Skye Dewey; special and dear friends, Norma Jean Nunnery and Mary Beth McLamb; and his aunt, Tammy Cook.
