Mr. Michael W. Grosskopf, 56

STEDMAN Mr. Michael William Grosskopf, 56 of 672 Blawell Circle, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2008 at Duke University Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Cokesbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rose Conner officiating. Mr. Grosskopf was born in 1952 in Shawano, Wisconsin to the late William and Dorothy Messman Grosskopf. He is preceded in death by a nephew, Shane Sadler. He worked as a Chief Operating Officer in the Construction Industry. Mr. Grosskopf is survived by: his wife, Peggy B. Grosskopf of the home; one son, Mathew Grosskopf and wife Samantha, of Stedman; one daughter, Sara Summers and husband J.D., of Enterprise, Alabalma; three sisters, Marsha Sadler and husband Larry, of Shawano, Wisconsin, Rhonda Thurman of Cecil, Wisconsin, and Debra Rasmussen and husband Richard, of Merril, Wisconsin; six grandchildren, Kalen Grosskopf, Marley Grosskopf, Jordan Summers, Emma Summers, Alexa Summers, and Sarah Summers; and several nieces and nephews. Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
