Melissa Beth (Semmes) Sweeney, 50 of Eastover passed away on July 12, 2022 at Avera McKennan Hospital & University Heath Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota following an auto accident.

She was the daughter of John Semmes of Fayetteville and Linda Butler of Eastover.  Beth graduated from Cape Fear High School and Fayetteville Technical Community College.  She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over thirty years in the Fayetteville area and was recently working as a travel nurse in several states.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
