AUTRYVILLE
Mrs. Melba Faircloth Hall, 85 of 3660 Minnie Hall Road, Autryville, died on Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, October 20, 2014 at Halls United Methodist Church with Rev. Justin Wells, Rev. Carrie W. Parrish and Mrs. Beatrice Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Salemburg Cemetery.
Mrs. Hall was born on February 10, 1929 in Sampson County to the late Levy and Repsie Hall Faircloth. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wilbur Huston Hall; her son, David Mitchell Hall, Sr.; one sister, Dollie McAlpin; and two brothers, Tommy and Donnie Faircloth. She was a longtime member of Halls United Methodist Church and worked as a C.N.A. with Sampson Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Dunn and husband, Craig of Four Oaks; her daughter-in-law, Faye Hall of Roseboro; three grandchildren, Mitchell Hall, Pam Sessoms and husband, Lee, and Chris Tanner and wife, Lorie; six great grandchildren, Ginger Rittenhouse and husband, Tommy, Dalton Hall, Nicole Hall, Morgan Tanner, Jackson Tanner and Hallie Tanner; two great-great grandchildren, Chance Barefoot and Presley Rittenhouse; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at her home.
