ROSEBORO Mr. M.C. Sessoms, 84 of 406 E. North Street, died on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Myrick and Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery with Military Honors. Mr. Sessoms was born on June 30, 1926 in Sampson County and was the son of the late Frank and Nannie Hall Sessoms. He was a member of McGee United Methodist Church, a US Army veteran of WWII, and a retired Civil Service Employee. Mr. Sessoms is survived by: his wife, Roxie New Sessoms of the home; and one sister, Elsie Tanner of Roseboro; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McGee United Methodist Church, 217 Camellia Street, Rose Hill, NC 28458. Arrangements by Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
