Mavis Lou (Ellis) Tyndall

Mrs. Mavis Lou (Ellis) Tyndall, 80 of Roseboro, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Southwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Reverend Andy Wood officiating. The burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:50 PM on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Tyndall was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Frank and Janie Lou Lockamy Ellis. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Gary Tyndall.

Mrs. Tyndall was a retired CNA at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Curtis Wesley Tyndall, Sr. of the home; two sons, Curtis Wesley Tyndall, Jr. of Roseboro; and Ronald Tyndall and wife, Jana Lake of Roseboro; five grandchildren, Victoria Stancil (Jason), Lynsey Tyndall, Candis Tyndall, Carla Tyndall and Brittny Warren (Nick); her great-grandson, Warren Hayes Spell; her daughter-in-law, Lisa Tyndall; her sister, Doris Tyndall of Clinton; and her brother, Tommy Ellis of Tarheel.
